Finding a laptop computer to able to be read in full sunlight has been a pursuit of mine for many years. The only thing that comes close is using a separate e-ink monitor, but that technology just has not advanced enough. The e-ink fails my simple needs of writing computer code and being able to read it on the screen; aliasing, ghosting, and slow refresh rates are the problems with these displays.
