Sad to see..was hoping the U.S. could wake up a bit but they seemed determined to double down on stupid.
It's fine. The bitcoin community has confidently told me that it can withstand an adversarial environment.
It can. Its what it was created to do. Doesn't make it any less of a slap in the face. That the government would go out of its way just to attack its own people like this.
But to make this about Bitcoin is such a narrow scope. This is about every aspect of everyday life. Bitcoin is a tool that can help you get through it, but that you have to go through it in the first place should never be reality.
The whole worlds clearly gone insane. How can Americans claim restrict is in our nature? It is entirely antithetical to the greatest virtues of the founding fathers and what this country has stood for from 1776 onwards. (This simple statement leaves politics out of it, that’s an entirely other debate…) 🐑
