yeah dealing with spam if this picks up will be very difficult- would love to do some PoW or sat requirements somehow

problem is that i can’t stop people from making posts to the boards outside of my client, unless it was only posting to one relay
I don't think that's a problem. Relays need to be able to deal with spam, this is good for nostr.
Your client could either just read from relays that are really restrictive about spam, like mine, or filter client-side.
