I got now 4x 3D printers running, which produce quality pieces !
Got a lot of compliments for that in my local community.
My homepage got a new redesign thanks to the help of doe.
Now i host with wordpress and elementor which is a nice sandbox for website designs!

So far, I went down the rabbit hole of virtualized machines thanks to proxmox. Migrated all my raspi, setup a bunch of meshtastic device in my region and self taught electronic engineering.
Had as well a few music gigs in summer.
Still dreaming of organising a rave supported by lightning ⚡⚡⚡

I passed my university writing module with distinction.
I'm working towards completing my next university module (philosophy - 2 units down, with 4 to go).
I started the process of changing my career (very daunting for a working class guy in his 40s).

For this year I achieved the following in terms of BTC:
I run my own BTC node now.
I motive myself to post regularly on StackerNews
I uninstalled X and Instagram and am Nostr only by now.
As a teacher my goals are:
I brought ~90 students to the Bundestag to talk to politicians (and they lost all faith in them as an extra bonus)
My book club got through 1989, animal farm, brave new world and we started with road to serfdom.
over 30 students at my school bought 12 rules for life by J.B.Peterson.
But the biggest thing I achieved this year by a long shot: I will become a dad next March!

This is going to be my next project, really want to get my kids excited about earning bitcoin. Right now I just have subaccounts for them on alby hub but it just doesn't hit the same when I have to fire up the dashboard to show them their savings.
My second baby was born, I’ve reduced the intensity of my Fiat work, and I’m making progress on environmental projects related to Bitcoin. Everything is on track.
for me 2024 was the year of exploring Nostr and leaving my hobbit hole to socialise (with bitcoiners) IRL.
Things I got done...
in Bitcoin;
- made first jam sale @ Northants Bitcoin Network meetup
- attended four events (away from home 😳)
- received job offers
- started local #bitcoinwalk
- spun up a full node; put my sats onchain, opened a lightning channel!
- made frens
on Nostr;
- presented a workshop
- sent 10k zap
- opened a shop
in Life;
- took on an allotment, grew some veg
- created a tallow balm product
- learned to make liquid soap, saved money!
