Who agrees?

Some people can eat only #meat , others eat #vegan and again others eat a bit of everything.

But no matter the preference. We all live with the same facts. A carnivore can factually explain what are the pros and cons of carnivore diet. A vegan can put up pros and cons of vegan diet.

But when both do their best to argue with veryfiable facts, we do not have to agree in our decisions, and still we can have valuable conversations.

Therefore in the information cycle we are, everyone who eats meat should factually understand, that over all external costs (air pollution, land use, antibiotique resistant germs, wateruse and greenhouse gases) are bigger to preduce meat compared to plant food.

It does not mean everyone has to stop eating meat. It only means eating meat while acknowledging these facts. Thanks.

Agreed to an extent. We've seen friends become "flexitarians" in that they eat what's put on the communal table or buy and cook with whatever has the least carbon footprint, depending on where they live (rural, urban, access to local supermarkets/farmer's markets, etc).

Pretty cool if more people can do that.

Yes clearly local a great addition too.

One other thing is also, to understand that every action we take is additional.

In the end it is important which actions we take. We should care more about this. See what we do and where we can improve. So many times I see people blaming others for parts they do.

But I think eating vegan is not less effective when I drive a Ferrari. It is all just adding up. So better drive a Ferrarri and eat vegan, than also giving up on being vegan while driving Ferrari.

Agreed.

There are no "facts" that are considered as such by all.
