Bitcoin mechanic doesn’t argue like a libtard imho. He handled a lot of bad faith arguments well and made his case against a majority of smug and well credentialed devs (no easy feat).

There are plenty of retards (and not the good kind like me) on both sides.

Not taking a side when a change is being pushed seems like a beta move. I tend to side with the underdogs and the conservative option in these cases. Hating on knots people who just want to keep things the same and talk a bit more seems like the wrong thing to do. While hating on core seems like the right thing to do—balances the scales a bit.
