So, when I look at my Zeus wallet, none of these 'zaps' have a memo in them (whether it's incoming or outgoing zap), once in a LONG while I'll see one with a memo though.. So does that mean my zapper is broke? Is it supposed to put something in the memo and is not doing that? Using amethyst.

Huh, yeah on the amethyst flow using Zeus, I guess maybe it's because Zeus doesn't have a memo field.. so what you're saying is, this memo field doesn't matter for the zap, it's just an extra thing that some wallets can add to the invoice?
I have Amethyst and zap with Zeus and never have any chance to enter memo, maybe Damus ppl can? Not sure

I notice the same thing. I notice when I zap from Zeus there is no memo but the memo I add in the Nostr client is reflected in the Nostr event for that zap. You can’t see those in Amethyst but you can in Damus.
Not sure if the memo being stripped from the zap itself is because of Zeus, Alby, or the Nostr client.
Memos do go through if I use LNTipBot on Telegram.
Gonna setup my own lightning node this weekend and see what happens with that.
