are you an expert in Iranian and Muslim culture, or are you just trying to say something that sounds logical?

I am not an expert, but I am quite sure that the issue is far more complex than just "eh, we just don't want to protect our women"

I have read several long books on Iran. That doesn't make me an expert. But the anti-Iran sentiment being whipped up in the West... I know propaganda when I see it.

Who wrote those books? Could they have been propaganda as well?

I agree with you that Western media coverage about anything NOT in the west (Russia, China, Middle East) is nothing but propaganda.
