Is there a general tutorial, how to connect with payed relays? Or is this something one has to figure out with every owner specificly?
Since I have seen that I added some relays, where I probably never actually saved a note, since it would be subscriptionbased.
Try going to the relay address in a web browser. Many have a spot for you to enter your npub and pay a lightning invoice to subscribe to the relay.
Something like this.
Every relay has their own method to make payment, there's no standardized way. Just go to the relay site and follow the instructions there.
