If I reply to someone and that someone, or someone who is part of that branch of the conversation above me replies to my reply, I should see that notification.
The criterion which is used by this relay seems like it would lead to missing many important notifications.
Why wouldn't you see it? If they tag they will publish to your inbox relay.

If that user which I replied to isn't in my network and this relay is my only read relay, won't the notification be ignored?
