What's the incentive structure around mining nostr events? Anything I can read up on?

I predict most quality relays will require a minimum proof of work to accept incoming events in order to combat spam. Currently it is very cheap to create users (key pairs) and very cheap to send events.

Good idea to implement something like that, the hashcash system (Adam Back) could be implemented in relays ?
