There are only three truly censorship resistant technologies at scale today: tor, bitcoin, and nostr.

All are currently niche…showing most of the world doesn’t actually care about censorship.

Granted, these technologies aren’t yet accessible or easy to use. But…they will be!

Censorship resistant and privacy technologies are still niche because most of people doesn't care about both. "I have nothing to hide, i'm not a criminal" etc... but one day they will wake up and they'll need theses technologies fast. We still have time to improve UI, UX...

Ready to roll on the home lab public #Nostr relay.

wss://rs.nostr-x.com

Running through cloudflare tunnels, exposing zero ports and makes setup EZPZ.

Writing a guide for the plebs. Making it super simple w/ portainer.

The relay is running nostr-rs-relay and requires NIP-05 verification to publish. Server is massive overkill.

Would appreciate some people connecting up so I can test data usage and system resources.

Discovered a method for clearing sinuses and restoring sense of smell & taste during a sinus infection.

Sniff a bottle of ground horseradish until you can't handle the burn. Then do it again. And again.

Who needs pseudoephedrine?

Another way is to sniff Essential Oils like Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Niaouli

- some packages check for Python version like this: `assert sys.version >= "3.5"`

- guess what happens on Python 3.10 🤦

I predict most quality relays will require a minimum proof of work to accept incoming events in order to combat spam. Currently it is very cheap to create users (key pairs) and very cheap to send events.

Good idea to implement something like that, the hashcash system (Adam Back) could be implemented in relays ?
