Most fairy tales are rooted in reality. Changing your biological sex and changing your gender are not the same thing, people are trying to change their biology with word play. If I call myself Susan, now my name is female. If I call myself George, now my name is male. If I identify as a male or female, it has nothing to do with my sex, regardless if I have a surgury or take horomones. To reduce womanhood to an outer appearance or a horomonal concentration is incredibly sexist.
