Antennas are easily made, but EXTREMELY difficult to fine tune when homemade.

He’s a radio genius first and foremost that’s for sure , showed me a device that’s planned to launch later this month - 100km range #meshtastic kind of thing but with much higher TX rate - 200km with a drone or high mast 📡🚀
