Backwards compatibility is important.

Nostr isnā€™t as fun without a signing extension.

Since the iOS 18 compatibility update Nostore has been broken on mobile safari for iOS 17.6.1. When the extension updated it removed my settings, I canā€™t press the settings button to add them back.

Now, I donā€™t use nostr as much.

Nostash, which is a fork of Nostore, requires iOS 18 for the same reason. nostr:npub1e3mx09yq53gyh9368qyuhfstgk8t7p5vvfcnvgwa4994y7rqg37s20qvr5 is there a reason why you havenā€™t upgraded to iOS 18 yet?

iOS 17 works great. The photos update blows balls. I have no need for the Apple intelligence bloatware. Recent security patches for iOS 18 were not issued for iOS 17 phones that canā€™t update, indicating that they are exclusive to 18. Apple software is increasingly shitty because all their good employees are leaving and the culture blows.
