I now have a private relay that anyone can read but only my npubs can write to at wss://relay.utxo.one
My hope is that more clients will use the gossip model like snort and easily discover my relay to find all my notes without anyone manually adding it to their list.
Now I'm 100% certain all my notes can live forever and never be censored :)
Nice! I’m planning to do the same. Have not dwell into relay. Only browse around and saw there’s one with nodejs.
Also one question, what specs of a machine is needed to run this relay?
I'm running this on a very old junk laptop, probably worth $50
The hard part is clients which don't really follow NIP-65, Coracle is the closest one so far (and the gossip desktop app)
Do you think Snort gets this right? I just checked my relays there and they are not at all the ones I correctly see on metadata.nostr.com
