You can host anything you want on Bitcoin today that you could 6 months ago. You are being dramatic.

Today, thanks to Core v30. You can host more of what you want (that is not money) on Bitcoin, and you can do it much simpler, and it's a default change. These three differences make all the difference.

Oh...and why was that change made?
