Hey Mike, I was thinking it'd be nice to see a following feed with just top level messages (no replies). In some clients like Snort, this is the default feed type, and then there's a "with replies" feed also. Here's a branch where I added this setting (please excuse my noobishness with rust, I am attempting to learn enough to make my gossip dreams come true).
