Do you think digital silver is an option? Like crypto but silver
I know gold is there but can't find a trust worthy silver coin

Some coins do exist that fill something of a role like this most notably kaspa which totes itself as bitcoins silver. Kaspa itself has several key advantages and follows bitcoins core filosophy quite closely but with upgrades to address scalability at the base layer, however there are some concerns regarding its founders and current levels of centralization. It's definitely worth looking into, but as of right now I struggle to find a currently viable use for it other than as store of value alternative to bitcoin. My main problem with kaspa is it's failure to innovate in areas other than pure scalability.
I think if you look into it more you'll see that it's no more centralized than Bitcoin Core. The difference is that there's consensus in current state and trajectory.
As for use cases, it's four years old and developers are just now addressing Kaspa with Python (an example for its youthfullness).
Not core has built out/is building out:

The use cases are innumerable. I wouldn't complain about lack of innovation in other areas as the DAG structure to 10 blocks per second hard fork was completed just last year. This isn't another store of value. It's an entire decentralized network. "Failure to innovate" in other areas is a time preference issue. Not a technical one. Anybody in Bitcoin should understand this.
Kaspa. See my post below.
