I think it would be cool if someone made a nostr desktop client that automatically starts its own relay. Preferably one that runs on i2p or tor.
None of the states are perfect so it really depends on your exact set of needs. My word of advice is to never get too attached to one place. The government feeds on people who want to settle down and not move, by slowly erroding away what little freedom they might afford you at first to get you in as time goes on.
