So hard to tell if BTC is already compromised. All the people I do not trust are suddenly promoting it and some of the ones I do trust are starting to go cold on it

It still seems good to me but Monero and doggie coin better
Are there any musical artists you like, but you go to a show and their other fans are annoying or have different values/lifestyle than you? Who cares?
It's tough to say. And also depends on your definition of compromised. But on some level it most probably is.
