Playing with it, I see the potential, but also currently a bit boring here due to low/narrow user base.
You could always work hard to bring your community here. If we don't build it, who will?
I've never been more excited to learn how to develope applications because of Nostr. I have so many ideas. Complete beginner to dev though.
