Bitcoin price is too volatile right now to use it as a unit of account for wages in the majority of cases. You are better off setting the price in USD (or whatever) and then getting paid in BTC at the exchange rate of the moment. If you set the price in BTC then the risk of one of the parties disliking the agreement sooner rather than later is high, which is an undesirable situation especially for a long term relationship.

Iโ€™m getting paid in my local currency, the reason I asked here for the wage in Bitcoin is because thatโ€™s relatable to everyone ๐Ÿ˜Š I already have decided for a wage I can accept, but wanted to get input from other nostriches ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿผ

Oh ok. I was almost jealous that you found a bitcoin-friendly employer ๐Ÿ˜…

Sadly thatโ€™s extremely common where I live.

What is common?

Sorry, abnormal not common ๐Ÿ˜
