Going into contract and wage negotiation with my new employer 🤺

What do you think is a good wage in #Bitcoin as an electrical engineer?

Take advice from strangers if you want to make mistakes

I listen to advice and then make my own decision.

My insight was rather incomplete, this is the way. Taking others advice when you actually know better will lead to regret.

I know what the average wage in this job is. And I know what i can accept as a minimum. It’s just interesting with input from others on here 😊 Thank you for the advice.

0.8 btc per month

1 Bitcoin per month will be acceptable for your skills

Bitcoin price is too volatile right now to use it as a unit of account for wages in the majority of cases. You are better off setting the price in USD (or whatever) and then getting paid in BTC at the exchange rate of the moment. If you set the price in BTC then the risk of one of the parties disliking the agreement sooner rather than later is high, which is an undesirable situation especially for a long term relationship.

I’m getting paid in my local currency, the reason I asked here for the wage in Bitcoin is because that’s relatable to everyone 😊 I already have decided for a wage I can accept, but wanted to get input from other nostriches 🤙🏼

Oh ok. I was almost jealous that you found a bitcoin-friendly employer 😅

Sadly that’s extremely common where I live.

What is common?

Sorry, abnormal not common 😅

Bitwage is a pretty awesome service, IMO, maybe check it out.

Will do 😊

Se eu fosse você, cobraria o mesmo valor em real, mas pediria para ele pagar em BTC. Seria mais fácil.
