I'm always angry at ignorance. And the internet always has a full supply. But you can't go around being angry at things all day. It's not good for you. So, when I encounter ignorance, I just stop looking at it, and focus on something else. I choose joy. For your own well-being, you should do the same.

Surely you agree it’s the willful ignorance. I can handle ignorance. It’s the lack of empathy & morals that make me rage. Yes, I’m still learning how to properly communicate online & deal with it all. That’s my own issue. Hugs 🫂

Yes, that's accurate. I can deal with circumstantial ignorance. But the willful, Dunning-Kruger ignorance drives me nuts. It causes a visceral reaction. So I run from it as fast as possible to save myself from the anger and aggravation.

You’re amazing 🤩 Incorporating this advice if possible. Truth.

willful ignorance is a facet of the complex of tendencies you find with psychopathology in its various forms and degrees

people who are willfully ignorant have a covert and very much willful agenda as well - which may just be seeking approval from a more powerful psychopath

i have a simple rule about how to deal with these kinds of people

don't.

avoid them and once you identify them, shun them and make it clear to your friends how and why you do so

the thing that makes them behave themselves most effectively is being ignored, it is not just bible stories, the root of psychopathy is literally self image, aka pride
