The last cruise I was on was back in September of 2009. Western Caribbean (Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize, and a few days at sea). Back then the only internet was via an on-board internet café powered by ship-to-shore radio. It was awful, and really low bandwidth. Only good for email really. It's good that expanding technology has created more options, including via mobile data (3G/4G/5G), and satellite data. I'd appreciate if more wallets integrated Cashu into their app. The Cashu Wallet is nice, but the fact that it's a web app makes me very nervous with amounts over 1000 sats. An actual app with perseverance makes a lot more sense for longterm use, IMO. And with that, you can have on-chain, lightning, and ecash all in one.

You'd think if they're already familiar with Bitcoin and lightning and have a lightning wallet, they'd understand the invoice thing and navigate it without difficulty. Perhaps you could add a tutorial page with screenshots that walks them through them basics of copying the invoice and using a wallet to pay it.

When you say small workaround, are you referring to the need to copy the invoice and paste it into your lightning wallet to make the payment? That was no issue for me but I can see that maybe being tricky for the uninitiated.

I don't really understand why US users can't use WoS. They're literally the only wallet with such a restriction.

I received seven 1 sat zaps 8hrs ago, which I'm assuming are yours. I have my incoming sats routed to a different wallet via my @getalby.com address. So those zaps hit that wallet. I've had no other problems sending and receiving from my node. Everything appears to be in good working order on my end.

That's fine. They're free to implement or not implement whatever features they want. But then they can't complain if users start flocking to other clients with the features, or start demanding that they add it to their client. It's a free market.

Yeah, I'm not down with it. The consequences are too far reaching, and it results in ongoing conflict between friends and family of the duelers. I think a less lethal combat would be better. Something where the opposing parties fight and brawl, and when it's over they hug it out and then everything is OK again. I like that more.
