When you say small workaround, are you referring to the need to copy the invoice and paste it into your lightning wallet to make the payment? That was no issue for me but I can see that maybe being tricky for the uninitiated.

Yes that’s the workaround. For non Bitcoiner’s they’ll mostly pay in fiat.
You'd think if they're already familiar with Bitcoin and lightning and have a lightning wallet, they'd understand the invoice thing and navigate it without difficulty. Perhaps you could add a tutorial page with screenshots that walks them through them basics of copying the invoice and using a wallet to pay it.
