Never been a totally keyboard guy. #Omarchy may change that - reluctantly at first. It’s growing on me! #linux

Very excited to be installing #Omarchy on an old #Thinkpad - going to be so good.

oh agreed! It’s cool, I need to play around with more coding.
Yeah I sorta guessed that’s what it was and it was by you. Is it a proof of concept or was there a demand for it? I get the use case, just seems a bit niche - as of right now anyway
Yeah, I left the threshold stock which I think was0.0000001. Do you use the app as well? I was a bit concerned because the app hasn’t been updated in theee years but everything still seems to work.
I also use an app called hash watcher to keep an eye on my miner, it’s easier than accessing it through the IP address and offers all of the same information but in a more understandable way, IMHO. The only thing you still need the IP address for is setting the temperature threshold but I sent a comment about that so hopefully it will be added.
It also has some presets for overclocking with readouts showing how the overclock is affecting the miner with clear red/green indicators.
The best part, it also has a “store” that offers you links to all of the major miner equipment distributors and I get notifications when items are back in stock. Solo satoshi is on there as well so I am notified when he/she restocks his popular setups.
The only downfall of the app, it doesn’t work while you have a vpn turned on, naturally, but it’s still more convenient to just turn it off rather than go through the browser to access it.

I’m a set it and forget it kinda guy. I check for regular Bitaxe updates, but that’s all. Don’t care to have another app on my phone. Appreciate the link and notes though, had no idea there were apps for doing that!
An Obsidian clone encrypted using nsec would be hot shit!
I haven't used Mint much, but I've converted a shit ton of Windows machines over to ElementaryOS and the folks I've done it for have been very pleased. https://elementary.io/
The Spyderco Delica is a superb knife. Here's 30 years of evolution...
#everydaycarry #edc #edcgear #penstr #knifestr

I’ve carried a Delica daily for over 30 years. I occasionally add another for fun, but I’ve gone through 4 Delicas over the years. It’s about damn perfect for me. Plain edge though (always) none of that serrated shit.

Over and over again. They are the three things I reach for every day and the things I use most. Seiko SRP777 on a “Bond" NATO, Benchmade Osborne 943, and OHTO Horizon Needle Point | #watchknifepen

agreed - I get better, and more useful, results asking AI than I do Googling a question. In this example, the AI gave me the css snippet, then asked which exact theme in Obsidian I was using to that it could ensure the css would work. Boom!!
Now I can actually "use" Obsidian vs spend hours dinking around with how it looks and functions.
I've read Dune more times than I can remember. Such an incredible book for the year it was written, so much better than the awful movie adaptations. https://briangreen.net/reading
Guess how I finally figured it out....

People still use Macs?
Why would anyone carry their seed on a trip?
You can just start war!
as much as I want to watch Akira, not about to click on a .ru link - thanks for sharing though.
Anywhere online I can watch Akira ? nostr:nprofile1qy88wumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmv9uq3qamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wd4hk6tcqypwdt7q993nerey8nu8ymwgngewhz82ltlsvp2ueqjwxqex95w26yrf8twf ? #asknostr
You didn’t have to do the photo again just to match the tag ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
Somehow I feel like I could have almost guessed that those were the exact three you would have. Fits perfectly. Highly durable, purely functional, no unnecessary frills. #watchknifepen
This is whats in my pocket most days (minus the pen)

Great choices. I like the pen, believe they make shorter versions that are more pocket friendly. I think I have the same flashlight somewhere too. I had intended this to be an EDC pocket dump, but love seeing what folks carry and use. Technically not #watchknifepen but we're just getting this train started ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
Nice set. Technically #watchpencilknife but cool all the same. Looks like that Alox pocket knife was once red? It's seen a lot of use, as a tool should! Ever worn that Hamilton a nylon strap? #watchknifepen
You are so stylish. The Illuminators are back in style (they never really went out of style) and I believe Casio released updated versions. We'll skip the G2 pen (another classic, I approve) - but THAT knife! I don't quite have the sats to snag one, but maybe one day. Partly for it's incredible design, partly for it's utilitarianism, mostly because it's designed by you and bitcoin only.
Thanks for taking the time to post and share the photo. Don't forget the important #watchknifepen tag is we want to keep this going. I'll overlook that you got the order of the three items wrong ;-) Great stuff nostr:nprofile1qyd8wumn8ghj7cmpvd5x2v3wwpexjmtpdshxuet59amrzqglwaehxw309ajxjumrdamx2une9ejh2tnwdaehgunfvyhxzurs9uqzqxv2us5mfl0m0tgdqhrgwlpm937mttkll7teg6p0c5ha2r5vacn6ayt2x5
Kicking off the new year with gear designed for use. Garmin Instinct Solar Tactical, several years old but still a solid watch with 30-day battery | Spyderco Delica plain edge, carried one of these for 30+ years | Pilot G2 mini, modified to remove pocket clip and rattle-canned black! #watchknifepen #watchstr #knifestr #penstr #wabisabi

It's a new year - show me your #watchknifepen combo!
Agreed. I have used many digital note taking apps and systems over the years, but still always carry a cheap pocket sized notebook (size of Field Notes but cheaper and better quality) and a G2 mini pen (mod'd to remove the pocket clip). My pocket notebooks are always dot grid and I use them sideways with two pages open, which makes a tiny note book twice the size (game changer).
For the most part I use a simplified #BulletJournal method of dots and crossed out dots. As with digital notetaking, I've gone through decades of iterations on analog note systems and always came back to simple, cheap, what I can keep in my pocket. So right now it's a pocket note book and pen, or a stack of 3x5 index cards as a #hipsterPDA (more on that here > https://briangreen.net/notsu_cards

Templater is incredibly powerful - too much so. I use the folder auto template function mostly along with the standard properties function. This allows me to create a note template ("Basic") that has the layout and properties I want for every note that gets created by default notes folder. One of the properties is to apply the date the note was created automagically.
