Democracy and Freedom do not Match in my understanding, atleast if it is political. Why do you think it is something positive?
Still Ireland, Sweden, Denmark should oppose this, I don't get how it went so far, at every steps inside people should have stood and claim it was complete garbage from the beggining.
I agree that Democracy doesn’t necessarily give you a Free Society, but what it does do is this: Democracy allows the people to change the current government without using violence.
