Lol it’s true. That was actually how Tweetoshi (the Plebstr team’s old Twitter client) worked. They showed ads in the feed users were paid sats for spending time on the app.

That is actually a great model. If users got even a small cut of what that the ads were paying the client and relays for hosting it would feel better as a user. It would also give a balance to zap with without having to get out a credit card and buy sats with. Most of the payout would get spent in the nostr ecosystem.
