The person definitely blocked me and there is an unblock button but it dosen't work for more than 5 seconds then all the notes are hidden again.

could be a 'competing' security filter?
I blocked someone, then later blocked everything from mostr (sorry not sorry) then later unblocked the person not realizing they were posting via mostr, and saw something like what you're describing
Yeah, Amethyst definitely has a little bit of an aggressive security filter feature where if a bunch of users block the same person, they kind of automatically get blocked unless you turn that off.
it blocked my own note from me for having "mostr" in it -- this one will be blocked, too 😂
