As if manufacturers wont roll over the tariffs into their US sales prices. If anyone is paying for it, it will be the citizens of the USA but they don't understand that yet.

This is the only way to force manufacturing companies back into the states. Canada canβt withstand this for any extended period without going bankrupt.
The truth is, Canada needs the U.S. way more than the U.S. needs Canada. Instead of picking fights, they should be working on a deal. The real damage comes from the retaliation to tariffs. But Trudeau, the Liberals, and the political class would rather play politics, knowing most people donβt really get economics.
