No it's not bad in many cases. Being assured in one's worth, safety, and interpretation of other's motives is key to make it a superpower of empathy
There are bad motives out there all over. The key is learn how not attach your sensitivity if applicable to toxic relationships and sources of stimuli
I agree. I think it's interesting how we frame the word by default when we are talking About people.
Sensitivity can be good or bad. It's how you put it to use that matters.
I see this as a primarily female trait. Women catch a LOT more than men because of their more sensitive nature. It can be a huge detriment if left unchecked, but it certainly helps balance human interactions, ones where men are woefully inept.
