In your settings you should have the option to set custom relays for messaging.

That 0xchat relay is a good one for DMs. You can also you their chat app or others like KeyChat which are nostr apps designed completely around messaging

I have oxchat ..but even there i send dms but they dont reach people it seems

In that case it is going to be an issue with clients using different messaging NIPs (nip5 vs nip17)
