That will be, but I’m not sure about how to choose between NIP-04 and NIP-17 for ‘starting’ conversations. Let’s say you send a NIP-17 DM to me on Amethyst and I always use a client that does not support that. I won’t see your msg. I know it’s not Amethyst’s problem but that’s a bad UX, especially for newbies.

Most clients don't support NIP-04 anymore.

For me, it's 0:45 CET now, which means that in 15 minutes we have new year in UTC time.
