The difference between the nostr social credit Score(WoT) and the CCP score is that, on nostr everybodys social credit score is calculated with respect to you, deterministically and dynamically. Instead of a central authority telling you what the trust is for each person.

So if you follow a democrat other democrats will see q slightly increased social credit score.

Same with republican or any other groups.

I dont think weve ever seen a social structure built like this, its unlike anything ever built, im not sure if i like it, i definitely dont hate it, since a lot worse social structures already exist.

That is accurate, yet there are protections to those merely acting as platform providers.

This doesn't mean that "everything goes", it just means that you need to include some level of measures for people to report dangerous media and nowadays include some kind of AI to spot unwanted types of media on the server.

These aren't unreasonable measures and mostly apply when your server becomes large enough to matter.

There are two options:

1) either accept centralization and that it will not be censorship-resistant and have a few large centralized providers

or 2) go the P2P route (IPFS, Filecoin, Arweave, etc.) and try to be fully censorship-resistant

Nostr seems to not want to go either route, pretending to be "censorship-resistant" but not really

when i run a greedy algo to collect all my 817 follows relay lists and then combine them into 100 filters per req across 71 relays I can cover 2 relays per follow at about 92% coverage.

then i can tell the relay to stream from these, open it with jumble and set it as my inbox to gather replies from other outbox compat clients while optionally filtering with a brainstorm WOA and lightning captcha for spam prevention.

since it's physically on my local network, but using a wireguard proxy for it's public IP i have a local cache and it's super fast.

My follow list got stale, because I was afraid to click follow in any of the apps.. I think I need to get over this because now it's just a crap feed compared to browsing directly on the relays. What am I so afraid of? Nothing really, I just subconsciously avoid long standing bugs without realizing it..
