If kids are doing things on their phones that parent's don't like it's an easy solution. You take their fucking phone away. We don't need government's parenting our kids.

The amount of parents I hear about who don't seem to realize that's an option is unsettling.
It's not child abuse to take away your kid's phone.
If they're being unsafe or even sufficiently disrespectful with it, it's abuse NOT to take it away.
phones are useful tools. I don't want to take it away from my kids.
also I don't think a gov has any right to force their policies on my (and kids) devices.
This is my job to take of what kids do.
Chainsaws are useful tools.
And if your kid can handle a chainsaw safely, it's a great way to learn to work and feel good about getting things done.
If they're not able to use it safely, nobody would find it strange to take the saw away, and not taking the saw away could well land you with a court case if things go tragic enough.
As soon as it's a phone though, despite the fact that it does get to life and death situations, people see things differently.
I never thought that in my life I will find someone who has same view on this issue. I'd go further: if parents ask state to help to block content they also should give up parenting. Fuck them!
I agree. But how would they implement their digitalID if they didn't have their phone, right? It's all about control and children are the easiest target for them. Government, the predators.
i do lowkey like the phone bans happening in school ngl. i have a lot of teacher friends who have seen such a vast dramatic shift in focus and attention, even mood. They’re so much happier and interactive now. Kids have gone back to writing notes, using old school digital cams, and actually are talking to each other again.
