Why do you want to see #nostr grow? What would it actually mean if all of a sudden the were a half a million users on Nostr, or a million? What if Nostr grew to 50 million users?
What would that mean? Can it even handle a portion of that?

I would always talk to a maximum of 100 people, a lot of people are positive about the business and some of your friends sign up for Nostr maybe not knowing they are using Nostr
There's already too many people.
It's good to have a largely unregulated messaging platform.
But I don't enjoy these nerdy little corners when the masses descend. It goes from a fun club to walking down a city sidewalk.
Otoh, I'm not sure how unregulated this place is. I haven't seen anything particularly shocking.
nostr feels like one of the last bastions of free speech, in digital and rl. The user increase would be awesome, I don't even know if nostr could handle a massive explosion of users but just for the public to be feeling the same way would mean alot
