Since changing my zap address several weeks ago, I've noticed an odd quirk.
Some folks are still zapping my old address, presumably because they are using a relay that didn't didn't receive my profile updated event.
Rather annoying!

blastr
Yep, that’s a thing
Daaamn.. something to consider
sir, cache invalidation is hard
One of the two hard problems in Computer Science.
What's the other one? o.O?
Naming variables, and other stuff
The two hard problems in Computer Science:
2. Cache Invalidation
1. Naming things
0. Off-by-1 errors
Blastr is the way.
I stopped using Wallet of Satoshi a long time ago, I still find plenty of sats in there from time to time for the same reason
That happened to me as well a while back. I figured it was just some clients with bad caching strategies. Could also be relays with old data though.
This has been a long running issue. Keep your old wallets around for a while 👍
Oh thats just a benefit of permissionless inconsistent networks!
Using a proxy address is a good way to experiment with different services without the invalidation cache problem.
Just fetch the desidered .well-known/lnurlp/xxxxx and return it.
I use Nostrplebs to forward all my zaps to whatever address I happen to be using, so I have never had this issue.
