Why? They're just Special Reacts.
They are spammy, require special filtering logic and grouping so that they aren’t annoying. The encoding is dumb.
Reacts are the same thing but worse though. Yet required for "basic social media functioning" by most people.
reacts don't appear in your feed
I used to just repost. Now, I think dropping commentary on a quoted repost is the way to go. Creates a discussion and allows me to tag the original poster so they appear on a feed they might not have had I not reposted. 🤙🏻
A reply serves a similar purpose imo
It would be nice if non-quoted repost had a time delay feature.
I would vote for not seeing non quote reposts on Damus (or even a filter option I can check to not see reposts?)
In saying that, sometimes it's nice to see a repost if it is something I might have missed while sleeping 🤷♀️

I kinda agree. I see the same posts several times in my feed reposted be different people.
Ideally it would only show up once in my feed with the tag “reposted by Satoshi & 7 others”
I’d at least like to separate reposts from regular posts; I’d love to see someone’s original content separate from their reposts.
