They are spammy, require special filtering logic and grouping so that they aren’t annoying. The encoding is dumb.

Reacts are the same thing but worse though. Yet required for "basic social media functioning" by most people.

True, but Notifications is arguably a feed. Do you combine Reacts in Notifications? Maybe the Home feed could just be a Special Notifications feed.

yes notifications is a grouped view. would be crazy otherwise.

I haven't done that on Ditto yet, so it's simply crazy.
