Anyone watched Star Trek Picard?

Holy shit it's HORRIBLE. Allow me to sum up season 2:

The Borg attack and so Q sends the crew to a timeline where everyone is evil and Picard is a genocidal maniac. They don't want that to happen so they use the Borg queen to fly around the sun REALLY FAST and go back in time to 2024. Picard has a epiphany from a childhood trauma where his dad was really mean to him but no wait, it was actually his mom. The Borg queen dies but before she does she assimilates Agnes. Oh no! Adam Soong (ancestor to Noonian) partners with new Agnes Borg queen and an army of drones with AR-15s to lay seige to Chateau Picard. Then they save a mission to Europa that Picard's ancestor is on which fixes the timeline. We find out that Wesley Crusher is a "traveler" who watches people through time to make sure they're okay. Q is happy that Picard learned his lesson and puts them back in the future. Then there's a huge galactic event that would kill everyone in the quadrant and they find out the Borg is controlled by Agnes and she attacked because she was really just looking for a friend so they could save the galaxy together. They all park their ships in front of the galaxy killer and through the power of friendship their shields block the event.

Oh and seven of nine kisses a girl. Fuck what an absolute hot load of shit.

I always thought Q was the stupidest part of TNG.

Two words.

Wesley Crusher.

😂

Season 1 and 2 are horrible, but they actually made a good 3rd season. It is more like another season of TNG.

Oh man I was just about to write it off for good.

Really glad you told me this. A couple episodes into season 3 and it's great so far.

It gets even better.

You didn't let me down man. I finished S03 and quite happy with it. Some super small consistency issues but all in all they were true to the characters and their values. And it was damn good fun.

Appreciate the tip 🤙

Wow, thanks so much! I too was quite happy overall. I think the bit with Data and Lore is one of my favorite scenes in Star Trek now.

Having seen the entire series I am happy to say that it checks off every single box of political correctness.
