Nostr is male centered because Bitcoin naturally aligns with traditional masculinity.

We're not toxic.

We just want yall women to respect yourself and not post your body for the rest of the world to see or give into the whole feminism/ trans stuff and lose your rights...

you’re forgetting that bitcoin is for everyone. even if you don’t like them. trans people, feminists, and everyone you may hate.

Bitcoin is for everyone, but with clear cut rules that must be followed for it to work long term, it natually aligns with traditional masculinity as the same goes for long term relationships.

I don't hate anyone.

Hate don't live in my heart beacuse I know first hand karma is real.

unfortunately, you can’t force people into that, and there’s nothing said in the bitcoin white paper that says that’s the rule of bitcoin. may i ask, how following these rules are the only way bitcoin can work in the long term?

I don't think your understanding what I'm saying.

I'm not forcing anyone into anything.

All I'm saying is bitcoin and traditional masculinity have alot in common.

I'm not saying everyone into bitcoin fits these roles...

Why do you care if a woman respects herself or not? Why do you even consider it disrespectful to do as they please?

Do you gripe at dudes showing off their masculinity? What’s wrong with a woman feeling sexy and sharing it however they please?

People can do w/e they want to....

Does that mean I have to agree with it and accept it for my own family?

No.

They are not your family 🤷‍♂️

Am I not allowed to have and form my own opinions now?

Has the world really gotten that bad?

Folks can show w/e they want to the internet.

That does not mean I have to lay down, accept it and be OK with it just because of "freedom"...

Freedom for you may not be the same freedom for me.

Folks can do whatever tf they want, but if it's on the internet, your going to get others forming opinions of your good or bad, weather you like it or not.

You can have whatever opinion you want. The weird part is drawing a direct line between a protocol and biology. It's about a philosophy not social norms. Mother's and housewives can appreciate Bitcoin too.

No one said they couldnt....

I'm just stating that traditional masculinity and bitcoin have ALOT in common.

Then I would suggest a revision to your original comment as follows.

"You believe that Bitcoin is predominantly male because you associate masculinity with the way you interpret the principles of Bitcoin."

Your original comment was emphatic and implied no exception. Doing this often leads to having to explain what you didn't mean instead of successfully communicating what you actually meant.

That might have something to do with me not getting past 8th grade....

🤷

Just a suggestion. Not meant as judgement of your education. Glad you engaged with everyone. That's the purpose of Nostr.

a friendly question

what is masculinity?

Social expectations of being a man.
