It's pretth nuts. I live in an ag community. seen mass consolidation in the last 5 to 10 years via multi billion dollar corps. now real estate is so expensive that unless your legacy farming you can never buy enough farmland cheap enough to amortize it over any reasonabke amount of time. The gap between the haves and have nots is getting wider by the minute.

The solution to the decline of farming is as easy as it is in manufacturing: Get rid of the mandates, the regulations, and taxes on especially small business.
