Meh, chokepoint 2.0 is dead, Ross is free, the most blatant internet censorship has been walked back (for now), no war with Iran (not yet anyway), no more vaccine mandates for travelers & immigrants, the deliberate importation of poors & criminals at taxpayer expense has basically stopped, some NGOs have been defunded, etc.

The govt still fucking sucks (not a surprise). It looks like the "tick, tock" pattern of govt growth & authoritarian policies continues with no reduction in overall spending & Trump expanding the surveillance State. But things could definitely be worse.
