Got into an argument at the grocery store checkout today.

I told someone I was paying using my credit card and “fake money backed by nothing.” The opposition took offense to this and insisted it was “REAL money!”

Shouting ensued. Feelings were hurt.

Ultimately my preschooler and I made up, but it’s apparent that I’ve got more work to do.
