Owning a house isn’t just costly due to maintenance and all sorts of taxes — it’s also a significant liability if you need to leave a country quickly. #Bitcoin fixes this.

I feel this. Offloading a house, not sure if I would want to buy another one. Not like the typical modern house anyways.
Would an oil field be the same? I don't think the tax would be true on indigenous lands but for sure maintenance.
Agree 100%. I never had any interest in home ownership for exactly that reason. I imagine there are some smart home owners who leveraged the heck out of their properties when interest rates were low, and put the cash into Bitcoin. Makes it a lot easier to walk from your house if it's just a glorified short dollar position.
Owning a house is much more cheaper than renting, also having a fixed mortgage in these inflationary time is more than beneficial, you are paying less every year (opposite than renting), and then, also could give you an extra money in case you are abroad (mortgage is usually much less than a rent).
Rather stack #Bitcoin than being pinned down to one location/country. Further it’s too much of a burden with taxes and maintenance and staff so I am not a huge fan as an investment. It’s different if you have kids and value the security having a fixed place, but then I wouldn’t count it as an investment.
But what is all this thing about and the purpose of "generational wealth" if you don't even think about having kids?
You need to achieve all the plans, not just the plan B 😉
