I know the intentions are good and all, but Bitcoin is clearly non democratic.

Some may even say anti-democratic.

And is changing the essence of the Government in a radical way.

So, my question is:

why do some bitcoiners still believe in democratic institutions? Do you really think that reaching to the politicians with solid arguments such as the ones in the book will make a dent in their nefarious system?

How is it non-democratic if it's open to everyone without discrimination, controlled by no one and if i vote with my node? It's democracy money.

It's VERY far from Democracy and also of being democratic.

You don't vote shit. Noderunners just decide to participate in network or not participate. And you can tweak your node as u please. With certain parameter for example u end up using BCH.

In all cases there is ZERO voting.

Bitcoin is 100% based on consent while democracy is based on coercion from the majority over everyone else.

You sound like Nouriel Roubini :).

Let's agree to disagree: for me it's the democracy of money for you something else. What is really important is that it works for both of us.

Sure. But being non democratic is of utmost importance for me. Otherwise the system could change if a democratic majority decides to change it.

I've seen too many times what happens to democratic systems.

Spoiler: it ain't nice, specially for minorities.

Yeah its not democracy its just straight up power projection.

Whose power? Demos? :)

Your individual power to make agreements with the people around you.

Some prefer to say the economic majority which is not the same as the majority.
