What I have been wondering for a while now: It is always said that a #bitcoinstandard would #makewarunaffordable.

However, what would happen if all the world lived happily and peacefully sending sats to and fro, and suddenly one entity "reinvented" #fiatmoney and attacked someone else. Wouldn't the defender be helpless against the unfair (in this case) advantage of the #fiatsystem? Maybe this alone will stand in the way of a global bitcoin standard developing, because it could #makedefenseunaffordable?

Please prove me wrong.

I think it would be different. Community leaders would have to motivate rich community members to invest in defense equippment. It would be totally different argumentation for sure.

There would not be a central entity, which can just deliver money, to support a war. But I think most citizen of a state, which is legitimized by its population, would also be defended by them.

I think it just means more personal decision and less propaganda. But defense would still be possible.
