The #Aurora Australis came out and tonight we were lucky to have a clear sky. The reality is the pictures look better than what it looks like to the naked eye. Even then it was amazing. Definitely go see them if you have a chance.

I appreciate your interest in the night sky. But why do I have such an aversion to all the people being impressed who “saw the aurora!” with their phone camera but not the eye?? Something about it seems so very normie and annoying to me. Anyone else have this kind of gut feeling about it?
